Lisa Schnell, DDSDr. Schnell earned her DDS at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1985 after completing undergraduate studies at IU in Bloomington. Since then, she has pursued postgraduate education, earning well beyond the state’s required number of continuing education credits each year. Dr. Schnell also attended the world-renowned Scottsdale Center for Dentistry where she took advanced courses in aesthetic restorative dentistry.
After practicing in the Crystal River area for nearly 20 years, Dr. Schnell opened her own dental office, Signature Dental Care, in early 2009. She serves patients of all ages with contemporary family and cosmetic dentistry. As a member of the American Dental Association and West Coast Florida Dental Association, Dr. Schnell is a vested member of the professional dental community. Her favorite professional experience comes when a fearful patient overcomes their anxiety and embraces comfortable, rewarding dentistry.
Originally from Indiana, Dr. Schnell is married and has two children, a daughter at Florida State and a son at Seven Rivers Christian School. When she isn’t creating sensational smiles, she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and traveling to cooler climates.
Tracey - Registered Dental HygienistTracey has been a dental hygienist since 1996. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in dental hygiene and psychology from St. Petersburg College, and she is currently pursuing her master’s in dental hygiene at Medical College of Georgia. Tracey enjoys educating patients on how to prevent dental disease so that they can enjoy a strong, healthy smile throughout life. She has a sensitive, caring chairside manner that our patients appreciate. As your hygienist, Tracy will encourage you to actively work toward optimal oral health, and she always gives praise when praise is due!
In October 2009, Tracey and her husband, Earl, will become parents for the first time. They look forward to increasing their family, which currently consists of them and their German shepherd, Taylor. When she isn’t working with patients, Tracey spends time on home improvement projects. She also likes walking and water sports.
Tami – Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded FunctionsFor a decade, Tami has enjoyed her career as a registered dental assistant. She regularly pursues continuing education so that she can provide our patients with excellent care. Tami focuses on patient comfort and prides herself on being compassionate and gentle.
She and her husband, Cameron, have one beautiful daughter who attends Lecanto High School. Tami is a native Floridian. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and saltwater fishing.

At every visit, Joyce’s smiling face will greet you when you arrive. Since 1995, she has worked in dentistry, and she finds the career immensely rewarding because she loves helping people. Working in dentistry allows her the opportunity to promote optimal health, wellness, and self-confidence – life-changing and life-enhancing qualities.
Joyce moved to Florida from Illinois in 1984. She and her husband, John, like spending quality time with their granddaughters. Joyce also finds time to read, bowl, and help her husband in his music business.
